I just finished reading Shimmers of Pearl. I had absolutely loved the first two books. I was absolutely furious with how the second one ended and couldn't wait to get my hands on the 3rd. I have mixed feelings about the book. I really liked some parts but it did not give me the emotions I felt over the first two. I super glad it had the HEA but didn't really feel like I could connect with this one. I don't really feel like my heart rate got up until the last couple of chapters. I felt like the drama at the beginning could of been stretched a little longer and was wrapped up too soon. One of the things I didn't like was all the descriptions in this book. I felt like there was way to many adjectives. And maybe I felt that way because I have no clue what Paris or some of these other places look like so I found it difficult to connect with. But I found myself fast forwarding to the next scene where there was dialogue. There was ton of sex, which I really liked but for some reason again, couldn't get all excited about this time around. Not sure why. Either way I had to know how the story ends.I absolutely love Pearl and Alexandre and love how much they love each other. I'm glad he really is so devoted to her. I love the passion they both have for each other. Don't want to give any spoilers away but was hoping for an ending more in the future to see how their life family life had panned out. Maybe them walking Rex in the Central Park with a few extras... But either way, I do think this author is great. I look forward to reading her future novels. Thanks Arianne, for enlightening us on how life at 40 can still be hot and filled with exciting drama!!!

Waited for this book and was not let down. This was a wonderful read!
Pearl (the heroine) has been through so much in this relationship with Alexandre ... who can she trust? Who is not lying? Who is really trying to hurt her? How can she get their relationship back on track?
I loved how the author worked out the plot line.
Must read 40 Shades of Pearl and Shadows of Pearl before attempting this book. Start early in the day... you will not want to put them down until the end. Stock up on snacks and drinks. You will not want to stop and cook!
Arianne Richmonde, you do not disappoint your readers! Another hurrah for you!
I absolutely LOVED this series! Ms. Richmonde has a raw talent for great character development. You find yourself completely wrapped up in the roller coaster of their emotions with all of the twists and turns!
Shimmers of Pearl was just fantastic; the perfect culmination of the series! It was such a page turner that I read it in one sitting and just couldn't put it down! I loved the drama, the suspense, the romance and the shear passion! If you like erotic romance/suspense/drama, you MUST READ THIS SERIES! I can't wait to see what else Ms. Richmonde writes. I'm a fan for life!
I can't believe it took me 3 days to realize that the final book in the trilogy had been released! Shame on for not notifying me. LOL. I have to say, I was not shy in expressing my displeasure with Shadows of Pearl (2nd book in the trilogy). I felt it was a big letdown from the introduction to the story of Pearl and Alexandre. In book 3, Pearl and Alexandre still have to deal with angst, but they deal with it together and it's just lovely. L-O-V-E-L-Y )
Pearl is stronger and becoming more trusting. Alexandre is ever the alpha male, yet he's showing more of his vulnerabilities in this book. It's been a treat to read about these two....I hate to see it come to an end )
Such a lovely conclusion to the Pearl trilogy. The love story between Alexandre and Pearl continues with the promise of a baby, and a magically, fantastic, happy-ever-after!
But the plot turns twisty and tumultuous with Alexandre's difficult past coming back to haunt him. This is another one of those serials you just can't put down, because you need to find out how it all works out, and if everyone makes it out alright!
I highly recommend this series. It has a little bit of everything - world travel, good sex, pink champagne, a charming BFF, cute kid and dog stories, suspense and a swoon-worthy romance.
Aaaand, I'm off to the next in the series, with Alexandre's POV! <3
I have read a lot of Trilogies and most of them I feel is just a way of the author to make more money. Most have a good first book, the second book is interesting and then they loose the plot in the third book. Not with this book! I loved the first book and had to read the second and then bought the third immediately after reading the second and love it! I could not stop reading, my husband, kids, work, all had to wait! I had to read the story! The plot keeps on changing and makes for a real interesting read. Yes the sex gets to become a bit predictable but you still can feel the love and understand their frustration in not being able to do more. Read this book! I think you will not be wasting your time!
From the beginning of this journey Pearl and Alexandre have gone through such a rollercoaster of events but in the end do they get their happy ending? I don't want to ruin it for anyone but lets just say its a very satisfying ending to such a tumultous love story.
Shimmers picks up exactly where Book 2 left which everyone knows was such a hair wrenching cliff hanger it left my heart clenched for weeks. You are brought into the story immediately and get put through such emotional drama you have to just keep reading to see what the end result will be. Characters you despised you find were not that bad and others lets say will get exactly what they deserved. Karma is a Bitch!!
Loved this book and this total series! I will definitly read them again and again because a love story like this gives hope to women who are not perfect, 20, and virginal. Some men may be Masters of their Universe but we are Goddesses of our Domain! You won't be dissappointed!
